Art is the lead author of FEA’s Global Mass Timber Forecast as well as lead author of the Engineered Lumber Quarterly Forecast. Art is also Managing Director of the FEA-produced IWBC, a major international conference dedicated to fully integrated industrialized construction.

Art has more than 40 years’ experience with engineered lumber products. He co-managed the commercial development and market roll-out for MacMillan Bloedel’s $150 million commercialization of Parallam® PSL. Subsequently, as GM European Operations for Trus Joist MacMillan, he managed the start-up and commercial development of the company’s European Operations, introducing LVL, PSL, LSL and I-joists to the European market.

Art has presented at numerous international conferences on the topics of engineered lumber products, mass timber and is recognized as a leading expert in his field. He holds an undergraduate degree from Princeton University (’72) and an MBA from Simon Fraser University (’79).
