Lauren Magasko

Senior Project Engineer, Timberlab

As a graduate of Northeastern University with a B.S. and Masters degree in Architecture, Lauren Magasko worked in the architecture industry for several years before moving into the construction sector with a focus in Mass Timber. Since joining Timberlab (formerly Swinerton Mass Timber) in 2019, Lauren’s architectural background and BIM software skills have contributed to the company’s holistic approach to developing a mass timber project, by embracing digital construction and the opportunities for a “kit of parts” approach to prefabrication for buildings. Lauren advocates for, and promotes, the introduction of mass timber in academia and is passionate about innovative, sustainable, and efficient solutions to improve the future of design and construction.
