Margaret is the CEO and Founder of Whelan Advisory LLC, a boutique investment bank dedicated to providing a highly tailored level of service to housing companies that are interested in raising capital or pursuing an M&A transaction.

She leverages three decades of housing industry expertise and relationships to thoughtfully connect Wall Street to Main Street, offering a bridge for housing industry business owners and founders to institutional level advisory services.

Margaret is well known as the trusted advisor to the owners of the largest private builders in the country, working on some of the most complex strategic and capital raising transactions.

Whelan Advisory is certified as a woman owned firm, and one of the only founder led minority owned broker deals on Wall Street.

She is frequently featured as a key note speaker on this topic at industry events.

Prior to forming Whelan Advisory in 2014, Margaret worked for 20 years on Wall Street.

She lives in NYC with her husband and four children.
