Vincent Davenport

Director, Building and Material Sciences, EllisDon Construction Group

Vincent obtained his Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto.

He has been with EllisDon for nearly 10 years where he has worked on dozens of projects from coast to coast, and currently leads the EllisDon Building and Material Sciences Department. The team provides internal technical expertise on Materials Sciences, Building Sciences, Modular Construction and emerging construction technologies. The group is at the forefront of EllisDon’s commitment to mass timber construction, currently supporting the delivery of over 500,000sqft of mass timber construction as well as the development of several low-carbon housing and commercial building systems. Vincent is passionate about construction and its future role in the fight against climate change.
